Q: Since ToolTrack is designed for SMB, will we have to move to a "big boy" LIMS in a few years?
A: Nope.
ToolTrack LIMS is built for SMB — and scales to high-volume automation without a platform swap.
Unlike legacy LIMS products, ToolTrack LIMS combines the database and application layers into a single architecture. That eliminates
the latency between components and the system scales cleanly with your server hardware. For SaaS deployments, none of this is
your problem. We handle it. For on-premise, it means one server runs the whole stack.
For more advanced environments, ToolTrack LIMS supports RESTful web services for integrating any external system, homegrown or commercial.
Built-in APIs cover secure data queries and ERP/MRP/accounting hooks. Full SCADA integration is also supported — ToolTrack communicates
with the SCADA or host controller layer, which in turn drives equipment PLCs for automated material movement and remote processing.
Need a custom API for a specific integration? We can build it — for less than you’d expect.
